Well guys - how was it ?

Thanks to John W. for his hosting of the 3rd annual Willis 100. The drivers were cautious:JEKYLHYDE and the wonderful staff/volunteers outstanding! The event seemed comprised of a fairly equal amount of attendees at the various experience levels which made for great controlled fun. I was in the beginner class - yes a first timer and was able to walk away a much better driver (thanks Robby for the lines) - albeit a little earlier than I would of liked (oil pressure:CRY: ).

Just like DVSF, we have been so busy having fun it has been tough to post. The Willis is sadly over. Everyone who attended was a winner, but certainly Johan stood out as the host with the most and was the Top Dog all the way around. His generosity hit new heights. It was a treat to have Gene Felton and Robert Tornello in attendance. I also commend ALL the Cobra owners who attended and clearly drove with good heads!! I left around 3PM this afternoon, but there were no major incidents, and barely any minor ones. I have some great in car footage that needs safe keeping. Johan is out to destroy it :D :D |

What a wonderful time: Just got back home to decompress for a few days.
Wonderful cars: Johans 1970 Lola (looks like a fighter jet on he ground) his RSR Porsche, his and other NASCARS (170 down the straights) Cobras, Porsches, GT-40: No one has any excuse to iss the next one! Fun part ofthe day: towin Johan's Bill Elliott McDonalds NASCAR back his HH home on my trailer up I95. What looks! Have reg pics-can anyone help me post them? cb |
Howdy!! Thanks to JW!! Sadly things on the works front did not allow me to make it this year. I will certainly make sure that it is first on the list next year. A week at the Porsche parade the week prior in Tampa this year just slammed me!! Newt year is the key!!
