Atlanta fuel/oil line supplier?
Any of you know of a good place I can go to to get different fuel and oil lines, and various t-fittings, etc? This is one of those things I want to check out in person, rather than order over the internet or via phone. Also, I need to punch about a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch howl in my cowl--any recommendations on what would make the cleanest burr free hole?

You need a howl in your cowl - I would suggest a high quality howl saw.
Call Cracker I gave him the name of a place and now I can't remember it. CRS here. Randy |
Happy you liked the spelling ;) Not good to multi-task %/ .

Try Barnett.
Been there once with a friend and they probably have what you need. South part of downtown. |
Mike, Joe is right. I looked in my Barnett Performance catalog. They've got every fitting imaginable. You'll need a catalog to navigate their inventory. Their web site is a bit unsophisticated. The number is 800 533-1320. I've bought several things from them. They keep a pretty decent inventory in town and a good showroom.

Essexs Parts north of Alpahretta right off Hwy 9.

Got all of them. Thank you guys. Sad thing is I have gotten parts from Essex (brake pads), and Barnett last week (shifter that Bill P ordered for the street rod), and, duh, never thought of them for this stuff.

Toy Joy Overload (TJO). I've heard of this before.

TJO

I have a set of hole punches used for aluminum electronic chassis. What size hole do you need to make and I'll check if i have the size. These make very clean cuts. You DON"T want to use a drill. If I don't have the correct size Home Depot I think sells these in their electrical specialty section were they sell volt meters etc. They are made by Greenlee or Greely I can't remember but Ill look tonite for the name. I can bring them up to Alpharetta meat you for lunch or something My cell404-310-0823 |
Duh
I just reread your message above. Im pretty sure I have those sizes. I'm heading home in a few give me a buzz |
Went to Essex, they did not have what I needed. Went to BCI, and essentially walked out with everything I needed. I should have dry fit the fuel guage, two lines, and isolator before I left there. One of the line couplings is the wrong size. Need to head back there for a fuel line adaptor. Oh well.....
Alex, appreciate the offer and that sounds like the way to go. I have a HD right around the corner and if they don't have it, I'll give you a call. |
Mike the hole (howl to some) punch works great if you can get a wrench on it.
If you haven't gone to HD yet ask them about the 220 circuit, I think they will fix you up and I'll help you install it. Randy |
Got the 220 stuff tonight, just need to exchange breakers due to physical size. Wiring is easy (I think), it will be the running of cable behind wall that I need you on. Sent you email.
