Car show - Atlanta Dragway in Commerce

They're going to be running the rail jobs in Commerce this weekend (Saturday) and doing a car show. You guys in the North Atlanta area can take the back roads into Commerce, which for those of you who've never been there, is a nice area. Anyone interested? I believe it's $20 to register your car for the show and having the drag races going on at the same time really limits the monotony.

Wish I could make it Tony .. but I'm working all weekend. :(

Would not be able to make it this Saturday. Too many things going on before the kids go back to school on Monday.

Maybe the 16th.

I'll miss this one as we are taking our son off to college. I'm excited for him, Andrea is depressed beyond words. Her little boy is leaving the nest.

College Bound

Randy;

My wife was the same way when we delivered our youngest off to his first year two years ago.

Where's he going? Charlie Jr (most of you have met "Jr" and know he's not a small young man) is at Brevard College (NC), so when he's there, he's gone.

Randy, we delivered our only daughter to Georgia Southern a couple of years ago. It was extremely tough on both of us. Trisha did more growing up during her year at GS. Now she's 45 minutes away at UGA and we are all better for the experience. Make sure he has a cell phone with plenty of minutes.

Eric is going to a small private college, Piedmont, in Demorest. His love of the mountains, camping, hiking and most important the chance to continue playing baseball made his choice easy, it didn't hurt that the coach made a big pitch to get him. Nothing like getting your ego stroked. I like the fact that he is away but we can still drive up (in the Cobra of course) and watch him play.

Charlie you are right - ain't nothing jr. about jr.

Randy
