Dragster EXPO - Atlanta
Folks, there's going to be a Drag Racing Industry trade show down at a convention center near Hartsfield during the first weekend in January. Ron faxed me a flyier on the event and it looks pretty interesting (lots of vendors) and hopefully some of those babes you see on the cover of Lowrider magazine. I've never been to anything quite like this, so I'm planning to attend. If anyone is interested, I'll post details.

Randy, I can't find a calender anywhere. I think it's the weekend of Jan 2/3. I'll confirm.

I'm still working on the trailer - how does 1250 lbs sound with a capacity of 5000 to 6000 #'s.

3 ton capacity? Maybe your car has a little too much iron in its diet, or shall we look forward to the birth of a Pinto in the spring.
If you guys want to go look at the hardware made of Unobtainium, sounds good to me. My car is still in triage, but a specific date and directions would be nice.

John I'm designing with the BB guys in mind as well ! Actually I meant a total weight of 5 - 6 M#'s. How many HP next spring 800 - 900 ? Do we need vendor tickets to get into the show?

The dates for the show are Jan. 3/4. Go to www.dragnews/expo for all the details regarding admission, directions, agenda etc. If I read it correctly, there's a car show with $100 entry fee. Sounds a bit rich! Anyway, the event looks interesting. I plan to attend. |

Yo Alex, sorry for the "mental moment". How about www.dragnews.com/expo. Admission is $8 / day or both days for $12. It looks like $100 to show a car. Check it out. |
