Who's this chill guy?
Chill? Who? %/ that would be the chill with a car not on jacks, or "statically displayed"....

TC, you need any help over the Holidays getting that thing finished? After being totalled snowed under (and conspicuously absent from this forum) I'm off for a while until '04...

ToyCollector 12-19-2003 08:37 PM

Snowed under? Exit 13 got it that bad? Who you kiddin'?

I can use your help. Help me finish my car. :D I done worn Randy out :D .

chill 12-19-2003 09:38 PM

Snowed under work-wise, you know, that stuff you do when not in your garage....

Sounds like if Randy's been helping, best case you're only 'half-done'... every other bolt half tight... he hasn't even finished his car yet...

I'll give you a call when the latest wave on contractors gets out of the house... hopefully tomorrow afternoon... and see if I can lend a hand (or both)...

keithlang 12-20-2003 08:53 AM

Hey guys,
Just moved to the Atlanta area (Cumming) and took delivery of my car from Unique.

Have probably 50 hours to go yet. Would love to come on Sunday and meet you all, but have to head to Chicago in the afternoon.

Look forward to seeing you this spring.

Tony Radford 12-20-2003 12:15 PM

I don't know about you guys, but with all the Uniques popping into ATL, it might make sense for the Weavers to relocate to Georgia. If we could get Unique and SA into the same facility, it would be for us what the mall is to the wives and daughters.

chill 12-20-2003 01:58 PM

Hey Keith, welcome. I am in Shiloh Farms off exit 12. If you need an extra set of hands, or want to compare notes as you finish your car, let me know.

Where are you in Cumming?

Alex Donghi 12-20-2003 07:24 PM

According to Yahoo weather tomarrow will be around 52 deg

Tony Radford 12-21-2003 06:14 AM

Everybody good with the usual 11:30-12:00 show up time? There is an "everybody" right?

GeorgiaSnake 12-21-2003 06:19 AM

Tony I'll be without car but will drop by. I need to talk to you about where you are compared with where I am. I'm more convinced than ever that it will work. I'm also certian that I can build my idea in the garage.

Randy

Tony Radford 12-21-2003 06:56 AM

Randy, did you look at my morning's post on the Unique forum? Clay forced me to "put up or shut up".

GeorgiaSnake 12-21-2003 07:07 AM

Just read it - brilliant minds think alike. You are not supposed to pass the base runner :3DSMILE:

I'm looking forward to the napkin sketches today.

Randy

redUnique 12-21-2003 08:25 AM

So who is actually going to show up WITH their Cobra?

keithlang 12-21-2003 12:12 PM

Chill,
I am off of exit 13 in Long Lake. I appreciate the offer. I do believe I will need another set of hands here soon. I will contact you when I have the needed equipment/supplies and am ready. Should be soon.
Thanks again for the offer!
Keith

GeorgiaSnake 12-21-2003 03:41 PM

Keith I'm in Alpharetta if you need a hand. Chill and I ordered and built our cars together so between the two of us we can sit in a chair drink beer and watch you work. Of course we will point out every mistake after you complete it.

Joel you have the most wicked sounding motor in the group :3DSMILE: Between you and Tony I thought I was leading the pack at A.I.R. - awesome.

Randy

redUnique 12-22-2003 06:30 AM

Thanks Randy.

Yesterday was a lot of fun.

GeorgiaSnake 12-22-2003 06:40 AM

Joel I want your motor bad or one just like it :D I think you need a bigger one and would be willing to take your old worn out one off your hands.

Randy

I agree, it was fun to get out of the house a little while anyway. I wish I could have come in, had some lunch, had a beer or two, but I had to go to my mom's for dinner, I felt like a little kid.
Nice cars!

Tony Radford 12-22-2003 07:26 AM

I'm glad you guys could make it. I really like our get togethers, big or small. I285 can be a fun course when traffic isn't heavy. (By the way, why do they call it "I" 285? You'd have to stay on it for quite some time to get to another state.) I noticed the ricers were out in force yesterday. Hearing them go by at high speed with those funky megaphone pipes reminds me of the two stroke motorcycle days.

Alex Donghi 12-22-2003 09:10 AM

Tony
You knolw what the truckers call 285 on thier CB's?? The water mellon 500.
Enjoyed seeing every body yesterday also. Sorry i had to run.
