Randy??? TC in the parts car??? |
I'll let you know in the morning. I'm not sure about going all the way to Dahlonega until I'm sure all of my changes work ok :JEKYLHYDE
Randy |
That sounds do-able. How about somewhere in the 20 / 400 Cumming area?
|
how bout GA 400 at Holcomb Bridge ??
|
rte 20 at 400 sounds good to me. Is Pappy Reds still open on the east side of 400 across from Lowes at exit 14?
Randy, you can meet Bud at Holcomb Bridge and 400 then come on up to 20. We don't have to go all the way to Dahlonega, we could run up 9 to Dawsonville, or just take a lap around Lake Lanier... We can play it by ear. As long as we get out and do something... If that sounds good, Tony give me a call in the AM and we can hook up and plan to meet Randy and Bud by 11:30 at PappyReds at exit 14. BTW: Randy, What changes did you make to prevent you from driving?? That trunk carpeting glue should be plenty dry by now.... |
Okey doke.
Randy - I'll check this in the morning to see if you're still going to make it. Only thing I personally know at the Holcomb Brdg Rd exit is a MacAllisters deli (east side of the exit). Meet ya there at 11am sharp. ;) Otherwise .. I'll met ya fellers at Exit 14/Pappy Reds at 11:30 |
Sounds good. See you tomorrow.
Tony, give me a call in the AM. |
Will do. 5:30 OK?
|
Tony some of these guys sleep half the day away.
Randy |
You guys still getting together this morning? Bud do you want to meet somewhere around Kennesaw?
|
Sorry Dave - I didn't see your post until after I got back home. I passed right through the The Saw too. Me and you definitely need to hook up sometime - seeing how we're in the same side of the State!
The drive was great. Of course, my personal drive over there was longer than we actually drove as a group ;) - but it was still cool. BTW Tony .. me and Chill saw your friend on the bicycle again. :D |

Randy, Dave, where were you guys? We had a nice ride if you ask anyone but the guy on the bicycle. Fortunately Bud was packing, so I felt safe. Even though I was fired upon.

Bicycles ?
Fired upon ? Packing ? What was this - a trip through Bagdad ? I went to test drive a few trucks - gotta get a tow vehicle. Randy |
I'm sure he was disappointed that he didn't get a chance to take a second shot.

Some guy in a 10-speed tried to cut across 3 lanes of traffic .. into a left turn lane. Tony went around him and was in no way near the guy when he did so. The biker must have crapped his draws at the sound of 4 into 4 stroker piping by ... and started yelling and such. So loud that Tony said he could hear him over the exhaust. Fired upon ? We doubled back on a 2 lane road and ended up passing the same bicycle. Chill was out front - me in the rockin chair - Tony bringing up the rear. I saw the bicycle guy getting ready .. and he attempted to blast Tony with his water bottle. Quite funny .. and we suspected it wasn't Gatorade. :JEKYLHYDE He missed .. bad windage .. and thus, no collateral damage was substained. Packing ? Yeah, Come on! Like American Express. What was this - a trip through Bagdad ? Kinda, as least the Georgia equivalent .. either Forsyth or Hall county .. :) |
The advantage of being in the front of the group... by the time the biker could draw on us (water bottle, I think  ) I was long gone and that red car was just coming into range...

Oh - Just a hose job %/ I was worried for a moment
Those damn bicycle folks want to share the road but not the laws:eek: I say to hell with them until they follow the rules and pay road tax. Randy Sorry I missed the ride, my car needs washing :JEKYLHYDE |
