Talladega Track time w/DSCC
Some of you have seen this thread, but to make sure all Atlanta based people see it, looks like DSCC may rent track time at little Taladega. With it's proximity to Atlanta, figured some may have interest.

Man, that sounds like fun! It is one of the few tracks on my wish list. I've driven around the Monaco Gran Prix circuit, Le Mans circuit (mostly public roads), Silverstone (many times) and the old Riverside Raceway. I suspect Talledega is like driving on the freeway, but faster. Your description would be appreciated. Then, someday, I want to run an event at Leguna Seca and do the Corkscrew. Paul |
This is LITTLE Taledega: a 1.3 road race course just south of Anniston AL and actuall east of the Telledega super speedway.
Did 2 events there last year and the "Unique Motors Homecoming was ther the past several years. I'm in-keepme posted.Road Atlanta ext week anyone?cb |
Chiperb, I'd love to do some track time at RoadAtlanta. What does it take as far as safety equipment and scheduling? Do any other Atlanta folks do that often?

Look under Track Days. Spectating is free. There's an event planned this month for the 21st-22nd. If you've never been there, then they require you to start out in the Touring Group - where there's no passing and a Pace Car to manage the groups speed. |
