When are they going to start the Riverstone events in Canton again. I got a tag today, thanks for the advice, and I'm ready to go see some cars. Alignment dialed in today as well. I got the itch... |
David - Where you at in Canton? I grew up there.
I either need to get a trailer or drive the car out there this spring for the R-stone event. (Either way, I burn the same amount of gas, right?) Seems like the cruise starts in April. Can anyone confirm that? I need to do some springtime tuning myself. |
Should be 3rd Saturday of the month around 3-4PM , April to Oct. Place fills up quick. I go once or 2x/year to look at some of the more unusual stuff.

I used to live up at Lake Arrowhead, up in Waleska. Met my wife when I lived up there. We've moved around a bit since then but seem to migrate back this way. Currently live near Cracker. Off of East Cherokee Drive. Hope to see you guys at the cruise in, if not before then. |
I thought I remembered them starting in March .. so it should have been last Saturday. I'm not for sure when they start it up .. but traditionally, they end in Oct. Always been held on the 3rd Sat of the month. 4pm to 9pm.
A friend from work (Mopar freak) who lives in Canton said there was an article in the local paper about people petitioning against it. I can't really see that happening. It draws too much commerce for the local businesses. I won't make it to the April cruise in .. I'm going to the 40th Mustang event in Nashville from April 15-17. I'm originally from that area and want to visit family and friends while I'm there .. so I'm taking extended vacation. If there's a nice weekend between now and then .. and I have that weekend off from work, we'll definitely have to hook up for a run around the country side or meet up someplace for lunch. |
