If your insurance company looks at something and then you decide not to have them pay you will be tagged as a claim....was told by my agent when I wanted them to look at my roof and make sure there were no problems last year from a hail storm...she said I would advise you to have someone look at it before we send someone out...if they come out they consider it a claim!

I checked with my agent (and friend) before making the claim. I must that over the past 20 years, Allstate has really taken care of me. Even with the Cobra. I've got home, life and auto with them.

This reminds me of just a few weeks ago....I stopped at the local Cracker Barrel for a bite to eat after delivering a Cobra for a friend.......While I was inside grabbing my "eats", someone swiped my anti sway control off the hitch (I walk the trailer and tow vehicle each time I stop, so I know it was there when I went in). Talk about being pissed off............I came back out and looked at it, thinking WTF!!!!!!!!!!Wonder if my load leveling bars would have been next if I was inside for just a few more minutes............Scumbags are indeed everywhere................
