Off Topic: Need tile work in N. GA area?
Sorry for the non-Cobra-related post...
My brother-in-law, Roy Farr (who lives in Cartersville) does exceptional tile work for showers, tubs, and the like. I thought I would let you guys know just in case anyone in the area might be looking to have some tile work done. I've included just a few shots of some of his latest work below. http://a4.cpimg.com/image/3C/A7/3297...-02000180-.jpg http://a4.cpimg.com/image/94/BA/3297...-02000180-.jpg http://a1.cpimg.com/image/85/CA/3297...-02000180-.jpg http://a3.cpimg.com/image/7F/5E/2392...-01800200-.jpg If you're interested, please contact Roy Farr (404) 392-8534. Okay, you guys can talk about Cobras again now. |
That is some nice work. I laid some of that Egyptian limestone in a shower renovation with a niche and seat like that second pic., but I don't know how he did that stuff on the ceiling!?!

I've never mentioned it here

Since my current occupation is in web retail sales and my degree is in computer science.. but I am a master tile setter and used to be a specialty remodeling contractor. Here's a pic from last year of the nearly finished bathroom upstairs in our home.. you can barely see the edge of the giant jetted jaccuzi tub on the left. Setting tile on a ceiling usually means using "mastic" which is a sticky glue adhesive. It's tricky, as well as GROUTING the ceiling.. (hint.. wear a baseball cap! :3DSMILE: )
