FFR4941 coming home soon!

I drove down and picked up my roller from Bruce at Jodeco's today so I could finish up some last minute issues. I got some good news! The entire body, doors, hood, and trunk were finish primed! Bruce said he plans to paint next week and for me to call him the following week if I did not hear from him sooner. This is great news since he had first said 3 months worst case. It has only been 2 .5 weeks since I dropped it off. I might be able to finish it up during Labor Day weekend after all.

Congrats Tony. What color are you painting it?

comtool 08-14-2004 04:30 PM

It is a first for Bruce. He said he has always wanted to paint one this way. The body will be Superformance Titanium (Lamborghini titanium) and the stripes are Mercedes’ Silver metallic. Darker shade of body with lighter stripes. I wanted some different.

Sounds absolutely awesome. Can't wait to see it. As anyone who knows me can attest, I love my silvers and greys!!

GOOD FOR YOU!

TONY,

That's terrific and sounds like a great color combo - I look forward to seeing it finished! Honestly I am swamped right now so I'm not even going to offer to help but wish I could. Too bad 'ole DavidH moved away when he did - BTW, how ya doin David?

Best of luck and take your time!!!:D

Hey, I"m still checking in. Move went ok, been traveling alot and have not found any time to ride lately but the weekend looks promising. I'm trying to find someone that can raise the garage door in my new house so I can get a lift in there. Ceilings are 10 and a half feet. Moving a garage door up is a whole lot more complicated than I would have thought or I'm talking to the wrong contractor.

Good luck Tony, post soome pictures so I can see what it looks like.

Wrong Contractor %/ You should be able to use a low clearance modification that puts the rails closer to the ceiling. You can use the same stuff by adding to the side rails and re-mounting the upper rails. The only issuel is the lenght of the arm that attaches the door to the trolley.

Randy

Damn contractors - I'll come do it for $10,000  Plus travel expenses.
