You guys should have parked in the "front row!" Nikki says she wants to join the club. Would you let her in your car? Nice meeting you all in person! Lets meet at Hooters more often!!!:3DSMILE: Thanks! Scott |
Found my tranny problem
Looks like the roll pin that holds the first-second shift rail to the First-Second shift fork dropped out so the shift rail was just sliding back and forth through the shift fork mount. Seems pretty simple to fix if I can find the right kind of roll pin. Tremec gives it a part number 2604154 but I assume it's a standard type of pin that I can pick up somewhere. Maybe Hull's Hardware will have one laying around ;)
Once I get it I should be able to tap it in. I'm assuming the magnet in the bottom of the pan will pick up the one that dropped out, or should I be more careful and try to drain the whole thing and see if I can find it? Got to get this car back on the road or Nicki won't have anything to do with me anymore! Thanks! Scott |
First time at Hooters... Right?

" Found my tranny problem "
DOH.... |
Man, I really need to drive my car to a Hooters for a photo op BEFORE someone buys it from me! :D
|
Chicks dig cars......
Trularin,
It wasn't my first time in a Hooters, (and it certainly won't be my last) but it was the first time with a Cobra. It sure makes a difference in the amount of attention you get from the staff! And I give her credit - she knew what type of car it was right off the bat! Scott |
Scott, I certainly hope you kept up the CC end of it and offered rides!
Looks like she's in need of a cushion for her back. Bloody good!!! |
If it hadn't been for the #$%&*(@....
transmission, I'd probably still be heading south with her!:D

I want a Hooters:CRY: I think the nearest one is like 90 mi. away:CRY:

So while Scott was ...uh... holding up our end .... up front, the rest of the Cobras were lined up out back...
Not a bad gathering for (a 65 degree) December 29th. Should we send this picture to the Wisconsin chapter? http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...16P1010002.JPG |

A little levity for the new year.........
A young BLOND woman in New York was so depressed that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the ocean. She went down to the docks and was about to leap into the frigid water, when a handsome young sailor saw her tottering on the edge of the pier, crying. He took pity on her and said, > "Look, you have so much to live for. I'm off to Europe in the morning, and if you like, I can stow you away on my ship. I'll take good care of you, and bring you food every day." > > Moving closer, he slipped his arm around her shoulder and added, "I'll keep you happy, and you'll keep me happy." The girl nodded yes. After all, what did she have to lose? Perhaps a fresh start in Europe would give her life new meaning. That night, the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a lifeboat. > > From then on, every night he brought her three sandwiches and a piece of fruit, and they made passionate love until dawn. > > Three weeks later, during a routine inspection, she was discovered by the captain. "What are you doing here?" the captain asked. > > "I have an arrangement with one of the sailors," she explained. "I get food and a trip to Europe, and he's sc____ing me." > > "He certainly is," the captain said. "This is the Staten Island Ferry." |
