I was going nucking futs last Sunday watching the ice fall from the trees so Andrea and I jumped in the car and headed to the hills.
We drove to Dahlonega to look at some property and made a wrong turn - ended up on Hwy 60 heading north. What a cool ride over Woodies Gap to Suches then Vogel and down 19 back into Dahlonega. If the weather holds I'm game to do it again Sat. We could leave early (meet at 400 and 53) take the same route and arrive back in Dalonega for lunch at the Smith House. Randy |
I'll be at the shop early (8:30) if you guys want to come by I'll have coffee and donuts ready. A new owner is picking up his car Sat AM, just not sure of the time. Have 6 cars there now. The day after....
Now with the light of day shining, and the beer recycled, I can see that SVOBUD may be on target!
Now to go kneel, crawl, beg, plead for the Sat morning kitchen pass - the magic 8 ball says "outcome doubtful." But miracles do happen and I've got to test out all the futzin' & putzin' I've done. Come to think of it, I just hope it will start and run. Cheers! Scott |
I sure hope Saturday is nice! Last weekend, after two cancelled flights and barely making the plane we finally got booked on out to Phoenix, Base 626 and I checked out a nice Unique and I finally closed the deal. We delivered the Cobra to the shipper just hours before he hit the road South and, with the car being delivered tomorrow night, I'd really like to be able to get out for a drive.
