Anyone going to Bob's?

I think Randy asked the questions like 3 times in the past 2 threads, but I didn't see any firm responses.

I'm going to try and sneak out in the morning and drive up there. So if anyone else is, I'll see you there!

BTW, if anyone gets this in time, can you post the directions to the FFR place? All I know is you go north on 400 to god's country...
Thanks!
Scott:)

North on 400 to exit #17, go right onto 306N for about 2 miles. Look for North Industrial Drive on the right (you'll be going down a small hill and there's a storage company on the corner). Turn right into the industrial park and look for bldg #4475, all the way in on the left. I've got a black lightning which will be out front. I'll make the coffee. See you there.

Directions are also on my website: sstartingline.com Be sure you've got your speakers turned on !

Thanks Bob...

Enjoyed the tour, the talk, and the much needed coffee!!! What is the actual wind chill calculation for 110mph wind at 40 degrees? :D

And my apologies, and thanks, to the black AMG E55 for the fun trip up! Wish the return had been the same - southbound 400 stopped for power line installation. Ended up crossing the median and exited back over to Cumming and then jumped on at 140.

Did anyone else show? Also, send me the name and contact info on your painter so I can arrange for an estimate on that oil cooler shroud repair.
Thanks!
Scott

Anytime. I enjoyed the visit and meeting you. My painter showed up about 1/2 hr after you left. A few other visitors also showed but no other cobras. I'll get the painter's contact info and e-mail it to you. Bob

I saw this thread after the fact - ended up just riding around the local area a little.

Seems like a neat business concept.....

Bob mentioned hosting a regular event for the local club. He's got a neat set-up where he'll not only sell you the FFR kit, but also rent you space in his shop to store it and let you work on it there using his lift and tools. He said having other people, with all makes of Cobras, come by on a regular basis would also be a great benefit to the people who are building so they can learn from the experience. He's also got a painter moving in this month who wants to just focus on Cobras and such. Seems like a good idea to support a place specializing in our favorite toys! Now if he can just get the Hooters girls to come bring the food! Well, maybe not. I already got in enough trouble over the pics from the last meeting:rolleyes:

My wife got a kick out of your "Hooters" story. She said we are all just a bunch of little boys in adult bodies.
I think it would be great if a few (or many) cars came up once in a while to encourage the new owners and even help build if they want to.
I'll promise coffee and goodies but after trying on a Hooters outfit, I decided against it!
