Shopping for Cobra

I have been to Superformance and am considering a purchase. Where else near Atlanta may I go to look at complete cobras or used cobras? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the board!!

If you can make it....come to Columbus, Oh for the London Cobra show http://www.londoncobrashow.com Last year, had about 300 cars.....

This year....same as the previous years....we'll have the manufactures on hand with thier demos and sales guys...as well as builders and vendors. And every year...I've always seen 1 or 2 cars with "for-sale" signs on them.

300 cars with 450 hp/ea = 135,000 HP!!

HOLY SMOKES!!

From Atlanta head north to Carlisle, PA in May or South to Ocala, Fla, in November. Either way, you'll see ++++ from a variety of manufacturers. Owners will always prefer their particular choice, but your personal choice is always dependent on how much $$, how much time, and what "style" you like best. Take your time- (there are a lot of "used" Cobras for sale also that have virtually no miles on them for some reason).

A lot of Unique's in the ATL area. Call (and drive) over to Gadsden, AL to talk to the Weavers.

Unique is having a "homecoming" next month in Gadsden.

I drove a Classic Roadsters Cobra!!

I don't own one yet, but just drove a CR Cobra!! Wow what a ride!!:D I have sat in a B&B, but was too tall for that, But the CR was roomy and comfy!!!
I have seen several other Cobra's and driven a couple, but none seemed to handle like this one! The tail came around when you wanted it to, otherwise it stuck like no other I've driven. I'm still looking...only I think I'm already SOLD!!!!

Superformance makes very nice cars. If you check the site you will see you can buy them all day long for 48 to 52,ooo. so before you purchase a new one. with a Roush engine that costs you 61000, look for a used one on the net. you can find many cars with a few hundred miles on them for 10grand less. good luck.. conrad

Come to the Mitty at Road Atlanta

The McMichael guys are sponsoring a Cobra corral at the Walter Mitty race at Road Atlanta April 30 - May 1 and a bunch of the locals will be there with a variety of cars to look at. See the Mitty thread in this forum for some more info.

I got to meet Rob and the group tonight from McMichael Motorsports (plus some guy named Pete who helped design a coupe back in the 60s  ) and enjoyed his perspective and big picture view of the hobby. He has done his homework on the market. We need more folks like him helping our hobby.

Head up to the Mitty, or even this weekend check out their display at the ALMS event at Road Atlanta for a taste. Their shop is across the street from Road Atlanta, and they have neat stuff even if you aren't just buying a car.

I just took delivery on a turn key midstates. If you haven't looked in that quater it's worth a phone call to Bob Kallio (888.246.0900)

I'm still breathless - they built a car that was beyond my expectations. Fast, beautiful and above all a tremendous driver.

these guys are honest on time and bound by thier word.

I have progress photos if youre interested

Next time you get to Orlando to visit the Mouse House stop by. We can get a few of our past customers to show up if you give me a heads up first to talk to you and take you for a few rides as well as look at what we are working on.
