Licensing & Title in GA Questions
So, I now have my new car in GA. My brother titled it on Oregon as a 1965 Cobra. Can I just walk into the GA Tag office and get a license & title it as a 1965? Is it that easy? (please please please...)

Mike, there are about 100000 threads on this subject in GA alone! You do not need a title for any car registered prior to 1981 so just wald into the tag office with your bill of sale and TAG it as a 65 Ford. $20 and 10 minutes later you will walk out with your tag! BTW, I insured mine the same way with AllState.

MZHUN is correct but in addition, you must have proof of insurance. GADOT will verify against the national insurance database for VIN validity. Be sure you insurance company uploads your insurance data into the GA database

If you have a Oregon title stating "1965 whatever" .. then it will transfer in Georgia as the same year. That's if you even want to bother with it - cause as stated - no title is needed in GA for something that old.
