Atlanta Area help
I've been researching for two years about building my car, and I believe I have narrowed my decision down to Antiques and Collectibles. I was wondering in anyone has had any experience in an A&C build?
I was also leaning towards Lonestar, but decided to go with A&C due to two things: PRICE and Lonestar's assembly manual was the absolute worst I've seen. Any and all feedback would be appreciated. This will be the first build I have done, so will appreciate any help. Also, I'm located in Athens, Ga so if anyone is close that I may view their car and receive ideas would be appreciated more than you would ever know. Future car builder, Shelby |
There are a lot of Cobras in the Atlanta area. We have three here in Dacula and probably 50 in this part of the state. Monitor the Atlanta Cobra Club posts under Local Clubs and check out the next get together. We have a great engine builder and several Cobra dealers in the area.

You may want to check out Unique's deluxe pallet kit. Gadsden Alabama is very close for you.
There are a ton of really nice Cobras for sale here on this forum. Many nice ones in GA. You can probably buy a nice sorted out road ready car cheaper than you can build one. Something to think about. |
sgmcmahon,
I'm in Suwanee (about 45 minutes from you) and am in the process of building a Hurricane. So far I've been very pleased. PM me or e-mail me if you want to stop by and check it out. Cheers Ryan |
You may also want to consider Factory Five. Bob Kay, one of the original nice guys, has opened a Factory Five dealership in Dawsonville (Highway 306 around three miles north of the intersection with 369), and offers build assistance and even the use of his facility and tools for a modest fee. He has a professional paint booth and a talented in-house painter. Check it out.
