someone name a place to meet (don't know area that well but i'll find it) and a time (earler the better) and i'll be there. weather looks good. everyone that's coming post it so we can get a head count.

Mind if I show up at the start of the drive just to see the cars and meet some folks? I don't have a Cobra yet - I'm in the market. I'd like to see a few to get ideas.

I know it's not really my place to specify the date and time (I don't even OWN one of these cars yet...I'm just a wanna-be at this stage), but it's already 4:15PM on Saturday, and I don't see that anything concrete has been determined.

I would have liked to have come but was busy trying to get some sort of race car running for the Walter Mitty. I hope next weekend's weather is as nice.

I am still alive! The motor had a "knock" after my trip to Little Talledega last fall. Just got around to draining the oil - no metal. Pulled the valve covers and found a rocker that seems to be loose - which will knock real loud (been there). Next I'm going to cut open the oil filter to see if there is any metal. If that is OK then I'll tighten up the rocker a bit and start it up. I want to take the Cobra to The Mitty next weekend! |
