Atl area to Unique Homecoming

Are any of you Unique-owners in the metro area driving your cars to Gadsden next week? The weather is my only gating issue for not making the trip. So far, there is one meeting spot at an I 20 exit just over the GA/AL border (half Interstate and half scenic). A few of us made the pilgrimage through Rome a couple of years back (scenic most of the way and probably longer). Any takers?

I may be up for the drive. What day, time, etc...??

Mzhun, this is a three day event at the Unique Motorcars factory in Gadsden for Unique owners. I figured I would head up on Thursday afternoon, overnight and head back Friday. I've got an appointment for an alignment and balance at Gran Turismo tomorrow. At my age, 3+ hours in my Cobra takes some mental conditioning to prepare. My car is far from fuel efficient, so it will be taxing both physically and financially.

That itinerary looks like the best way to do it and beat the rain. I am booked Friday morning so doubt that I can make the trip. I am with you on long trips in the Cobra and mental conditioning, but i did get 20 miles to the gallon on my trip to Tampa...the highway portion anyway...
