FFR Mk3 to be raffled in Grayson Ga

The link says a MINIMUM of 3000 tickets must be sold or there's some undisclosed "Plan B" or 50/50 raffle. Do you know many tickets have been sold thus far?
Details: You must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets or win a prize. Prize winner is responsible for all costs associated with tax, tag, title and delivery fees. If minimum of 3000 tickets are not sold, Grayson Goal Club reverts to Plan B or a 50/50 split of net proceeds. Raffle winnings are fully tax deductible and must be reported on the winner’s State and Federal Income Tax Returns. Car is valued at $35,000 |
And not to be a detail freak, but winnings are not tax deductible (to the winner) but rather taxable.
Of course, if you know of a way for me to win a $35,000 car and then deduct that amount from my income for tax purposes, I'm all ears! |
Two things:
1) The Grayson Soccer Booster Club decided to push back the drawing to March 2nd, 2007 so that the car can be given away at a home soccer game. This will also ensure that they sell enough tickets to give the car away. 2) The Club has added PayPal and credit card ordering to the Soccer Club web site.
