New Cobra North Atlanta

I recently purchased Keith's (Exel Guru) Unique 427. Looking forward to meeting some of you next year at your events. I am in the Cumming area.
Until now, I have just been lurking around reading everything I could think of to search. Great forum!

Hey welcome...

What color? Did I see you on Hwy 9 last Saturday, not too far from Ferguson's Market?

Oh, no tags...I guess that means you haven't driven it on the road yet?

:3DSMILE:

Why don't you just make up one of those "Tag Applied For" tags that I often see on '87 Hondas with a spacesaver tire on the front-right and a "For Sale" sign in the window?

KellerRacing,
I've have driven it a few times but didn't stray too far from home.

Quarter-mile in each direction? About 25 seconds round-trip?

You can still drive it. GA law says you have 30 days from date of purchase to obtain a tag - that's how new/used car owners can drive around with a paper tag on displaying nothing but a date. You do, however, need proof of insurance from day one.

I would suggest you keep the Bill of Sale (or signed/dated title) and a copy of your insurance card with you if you do venture more than a 1/4 mi from the house. ;)

SVOBud, Yeh your right but I have to make adjustments with the seats so they are out. I'm 6'4" and it was not really driveable as it was unless I wanted to just look over the windshield. Don't want to go for the Herman Munster look. Just have to look at it for now.
