Cobra sighting 02/02/08 - Chastain Rd/George Busbee
Ok - who was the nut out this morning around 9:45am in a Maroon/Wht Stripes (thinkin it was a FFR) on Chastain Rd, turning onto George Busbee ?? .. heading to the Starbucks to warm up I imagine. It was 28 degs!!!! Thats dang cold in Georgia y'all! I know for a fact how cold it was, I was on my motorcycle, headed to the mountains ... heated gear and all.

I was out in the Cobra Saturday, but that was not me. I cruised up to Dahlonega with my wife for lunch. Nice day. I drove up 9 out of Roswell through Dawsonville to Dahlonega. It wasn't as scenic as I thought it would be. Oh well. Any day in the Cobra is a good day. Jack |
Got to hand it to the hard core. I took advantage of the warm day and drove mine to work today. I looked out the window at 4:30 and saw the rain drops on my ride. Needless to say, I headed for the house a bit early. When is the next Dreamland BBQ meeting? I think it's been two years. Are there any Cobras left in Atlanta?

Getting Cobras together in Atlanta is hard. Remember last summer we were going to meet for breakfast one weekend. It fell apart and didn't happen. The most Cobras I've seen in one place in Atlanta was the North Georgia drive The Commissioner got us involved in with the Jaguar club. That was a great day!! I'm out of town a lot (Kentucky today) so meeting in the week is dodgy for me. I like Cobras, Cobra people and Dreamland BBQ. It would be nice to get together sometime. Jack |
Jack - I went thru there on my ride. Rode up to Suches, turned-around, and headed home. Been sick lately and the ride just about wore me out.
Tony - I still have mine. Mzhun stopped by the house the other day and he still has his B&B. I thought you were working out of an office in PA? Didnt recognize the car I saw, but who knows. I was on two wheels, twistin the throttle, and freezing. If you guys get a meet planned - put up plenty of notice so I can try to plan for it. |
Bud, I only go to PA when the weather is nice in Georgia.
