Santa Run Sunday 7 December
I just got off the phone with Jason at Arbor Place Imports and they have a pretty cool event planned. http://www.santarun100.com/home. It will be a cruise from Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville GA to the Talladega Grand Prix Raceway http://www.tgprace.com/ The plan then is to let anyone that wants to run on the 1.4 road course. They will time the runs and they say you can run as much as you want. The entry is two new toys and $75. Jason said last year it was a cruise only and it turned into a Gumball rally so he decided to rent a track this year. See the website for entry instructions. |

Just bringing this to the top. Jason would like to firm up the entry list and the registration deadline is Nov. 19th. For more details check out the website above or give Jason a call (number is on the website). This is not a high pressure road race thing. It is going to be a cool collection of different cars and car people that DRIVE their cars, taking a short cruise through the countryside, make some $$ and collect some toys for charity and then get to air it out a bit off the street on a 1.4 mile road course. It would be great to fill the air with the sound of some American muscle.
