Floods
I hope everyone in the ATL area is safe. What a disasterous couple of days. Very sad stuff watching the news. No issues in Hall County, but it's going to be a mess this weekend at Road Atlanta for the Petit LeMans. :(

After setting thru the flooding here from Hurricane Ike last year I do hope for the best!!!

Drought
Yep, we're done with the drought for all but about 10% of the state in the NE corner. Around here, the main drink of water, Lake Lanier, has gone from 27 feet down last Fall to only 2 feet down and after all the runoff this week, it'll be at full pool or better.

so far all is good in my neck of the woods. No cable and lost electricity but looking better. chattahoochee was flowing over its banks here and flowing really fast!

Pretty lucky here in Duluth. Neighbor had a lot of water in his basement, but could be worse. Just watch the news and you'll see what I mean.
