1985 ak 1069

I am evaluating the purchase of Autokraft 1069 located in Jax, FL and am wondering if anyone has any historical info on this particular vehicle.

It is in seemingly great condition, blk w/blk interior but with no history or records.

I noticed that the throttle is connected to the carb linkage via a cable. Is this standard on AKs? Pedal travel was excessive and I was wondering if this was a common problem and if there was a direct linkage replacement fix out there.

I've had many old Fords, Tigers and such but this would be my first "Cobra".

Thanks to all.

Just not all that impressed with the AC cars from the 1980's

- in most cases you are bound by emissions , and the parts are a mishmash of 1980s UK stuff (harder to find than 1960s stuff) the cars diverge significantly from the CSX and KMP platforms.

Unless its under 70K -- its a skip.

Yes,

The AK cars had a cable system for the throttle. And, yes, I sold it new.
