AC MKIV Hood
Do to a garage lift mishap (my fault) I may need a replacement hood and/or hinges for my '85 MKIV. I will know more this next week after the body shop guy looks it over. Does anyone know if original AC Cobra replacement hood and hinges will fit or must you use parts specific to a MKIV. Also does anyone know the email address of Gerry at Hawk Cars Ltd?

Hood is same shape/contour as a Cobra but Brian did the inner structure and hinge differently. Steve at Brooklands should be able to supply a hood but that will still require some fitting as they were individually fitted to each body. Contact info here: Brooklands Motor Company Rick |

It will need to be fitted as it is a skin joined to frame. Not something you ship from England and expect to fit, hand made car thing..
