Same specs for the whole world Mark W., just that the USA has its regulations for importing and those are met by AC cars.
To answer your other question, I am not part of AC management in any way.Just a friend on this side of the pond.

So AC has decided not to undertake full US certification for their Mk11 as Mr Angliss did for the Mk IV, thirty years ago. Probably not possible under today's stricter regulations.

My 88 Mk IV has been extremely reliable. The most reliable "British" car I own!

Very little information on how AC are progressing with their latest project with Hi Tech. Boss Motor Company still have the early example of the Hi Tech built composite Mk11 Classic on their website but have removed the separate AC page on their site which is surprising given that they were appointed only last year as the official AC dealer. There's no information either on the 378 GT Zagato; it's certainly not on sale in the UK.
AC Heritage at Brooklands UK http://www.acheritage.co.uk/newbuildac427.htm and AC Automotive in Germany AC Automotive are still in business though.
