Think I am high bidder for now.... Might exceed my allowance.
It's an interesting car more MKIV than a MKIII and most of the DOT points that later was MKIV using a 302.
Came to the US as a component roller, no doubt to avoid emissions etc....

Looks to be a nice car!
Nice look and FE makes it a keeper I feel.

Nice looking car Jeff. Good luck, not in my budget. No use bidding anymore until the end. No use driving the price up too early.

Well I hope in the last few minutes of this auction that nobody is offering Bill and Jeff free alcholic drinks. ;)

In the likely event that either buyer and / or seller are members of the forum, certainly no offense intended by the question.
I am just someone new to this community trying to understand the depth and breadth of the market in anticipation of the next one - whenever that will be.
Obviously the seller would not have let it go if the reserve was unmet, but wondering if the braintrust here expected more / less or just right.

I think the seller is happy with this sale after speaking to him.
As a fellow AK owner I think it's fair and due as they are alloy, real AC's and actually made in the UK.
Checks all the boxes, after all alloy cars now a day's are all seemingly over 200k normally so this in my opinion a good buy and a good sell.
Bravo!

Not market breaking numbers. On par with current replacement cost. The point being that the pedigree didn't make it worth 2x more than a Kirkham.

Right, however it should be in the same ballpark..... Tony, never said it was x2?
It was made in England though..... :)
Did not seem to help the CSX1000 series either....
