New 9" Center Sections...
I know a great deal of you guys run 9" Ford rearends. I thought I'd put together a nice ready-to-install package for a complete center section, assembled with high quality parts. I can also supply Moser axles in any width.
What you get in the center section (all brand new parts): *Strange S-Series center section, 3.250" *Motive gear set (your choice of ratio) *New 31 Spline Trac-Lok differential *Dayton pinion support *Billet steel pinion yoke (1330 or 1350) *Install kit, complete with Timken bearings and solid spacer $1205 + shipping, ready to bolt in. LOTS of options are available....Detroit Lockers, Eaton Tru-Tracs, Strange aluminum center sections, etc, etc. Complete 8.8" Ford rearends are also available. |
I need a limited slip carrier for a 8" Ford. Not the 8.8...the 8". Got any used ones floating around?

I sure am. They werent the best...but theyll take some abuse. I had an 8" in the 69 fastback I had. Full steel body,302 on nitrous,4spd top loader...even with 20 gallons of fuel hanging off the back of the car I never managed to break it.
So going off of past experiance I was comfortable with putting an 8" in it. |
