Vehicle held for consignment
I don't have the opportunity to post in here often but wanted to take a moment concerning a couple of recent claims that we have seen. When taking your car to a consignment shop be sure you are working with a reputable establishment. We have had two cars that were taken to consignment shops to be held for sale and they have both disappeared as well as the shop and the shop's owner. These are not good situations for anyone and we hope this does not continue. Have a great Christmas to anyone that might see this.

It goes without saying that you should always know who you are dealing with when it comes to the consignment of your property for sale.

Hello Robbin.
I have a question pertaining to ins. co. owner ship and how it changes from time to time.
I started with what I thought was Midwest classic, part of great American ins. group back in 2007. Classic auto ins was my first provider with that group, then Infinity, then American Modern until Feb. 2015.
Then it changed to AFH ins. co.
I bought the initial ins. in 2007 from Midwest Classic because you were an advertiser on Club Cobra and now, I am curious if your company and I are still connected.
Thanks, Maurice Lawrence

If I ever did that (and I won't), I would notify my insurance company where the car is, then ask for an insurance certificate from the owner naming me as additionally insured on his policy.

Just put it on Cobra Country, ask a fair price, and state "I'll lower the price $2,500 every Saturday until the car is sold, first come first serve." C'mon, how hard is that?
