staining on vinyl

I have a gray vinyl dash. Around the gauges and switches there is a slight tinge of Brown that has developed. I've tried vinyl cleaner, 409, and even toothpaste to try to remove it with no luck. Any ideas?

Lou - Not sure if you can find some shoe polish that matches, but you might give it a try. I had a small scratch on some vinyl and used a little shoe polish to mask it.

Thanks for the reply Doug, I'll try to find some gray or silver polish.

It may be picking up the stain from the rubber gasket isolators from the instruments. you may want to see if those are reacting to cleaners or something.
