Looking for old SPF cobra

Hi guys

I am not a 100% sure this request is possible as I am not sure when SPF cobra production started

I am looking to buy an older SPF cobra , it has to be at least 15 years old and I have to be able to prove that it is 15 years old

If you have one and you want a quick sale please let me know

Thanks

I believe Superformance was founded in 1996.

Production of the Superformance Cobra started in 1994 and initial volumes were very small. Not sure how many of these ended up in the U.S.

But the real trick will be making sure you have the correct paperwork to prove the car's age to Canada Customs. That is, you'll need some type of government-issued document that establishes the month and year the car was completed, e.g., the original state title or similar. This is much easier said than done.

Make sure the seller has the right docs before you lay out your cash. Some states title kit cars based on the engine block's age, or the car it's made to resemble, or some other criteria. Or sometimes owners just manage to get 'em titled as "1965 Cobras." This is not deceptive per se, but probably won't meet Canadian import requirements. Be careful. I would hate to see your car get seized at the border.
