Thank you! ;) I miss it! The car was complete when I bought it from Lance Stander @ Hillbank Motorsports. He put a great package together. It has a Coast High Performance 427w.

I've got a 428 PI engine in my street car - my goal was to duplicate the 3200 series that came with a 428 PI...

SWEET.....thats exactly what would do if I was going to do an ERA street car. THATs funny . So its a period correct block ? I have heard that the 427 was a diffacult engine I believe Carrol said he couldn't get it too run right.

Those are some great photographs (no need to repost them here).

SDR great thread!

TR, the SPF supplied headers and pipes are very nicely done and work as advertised. I went with a hood scoop because the carb and manifold (Demon 850 and Edelbrock RPM Air Gap) wouldn't fit without the scoop. The clean hood version takes my breath away!!

SP1410...I knew you couldn't stay out of this one Jim!

They were taken by photography students from the Savannah College of Design. They borrowed the car, put it in an indoor professional studio with all kinds of cool lighting and had at it.

The engine block is period correct C6ME-A....

car4jim 11-15-2009 08:06 AM

Go to the Kirkham Motorsports website. They have pictures of their 427 Street Car. No hood scoop, no side pipes, no front oil cooler scoop, no roll bar. Sweet!
