Radiator Fan
I just bought a Shell Valley kit Cobra. Current radiator fan is located as a pusher in front of Radiator. Shell Valley informed me that there is not enough room to install a puller fan. Looking for advice on the best fan to use with Mustang radiator and 302 motor. I'm brand new at this, so please go easy on me.

I say put it together and see what you see.You do not need much room for a puller fan with shroud. If you can use a puller make sure the shroud cover the complete rad.Good Luck

I have a Shell Valley with a high performance 289 and I just bought my replacement pusher fan from them after the old one went south. Works fine. Mine also has the mechanical fan. There is a buttload of room in the engine compartment , enough for a mechanical fan so there is surely enough room for a puller if you don't have mechanical. I have a pusher fan only on my '38 Chevy with a blown; Nos; 350 and it keeps things cool.

Recommend a SPAL puller. They don't take much space

I've been very satisfied with Zirgo fans. They move a lot of air, are both pusher and puller and cost about half of what a SPAL costs. Check eBay.

I would start with figuring out how much room you do- or dont have behind the radiator .
AKA measure, and make a carboard template -- to see what options would work for you. -- you could then review the sizes of the different offerings and select the best one for your situation.

Thanks. I will do the measuring when my car is delivered to me. I just bought it and it is in Kentucky and I'm in Texas.
