Ford Falcon GT 351

Does anyone know anything about these cars, this car is located near my work and I really like the way it looks. Right hand drive. What are these things worth?

If you like I can give you the number of a person to call that lives and breathes Ford. He can fill you in on this.

Send me a PM if you want his number.

guy here in town bought one of those out of a museum, sold it to someone and made some money, who sold it to someone in australia and made really big money.

Australian Falcons are to cool. That is basically what Mad Max's car was built from. Here are a couple of sites to look at.

This is an object of desire - particularly if you are a 'Ford Guy' and particularly so if you're in Australia.

Not all coupes were GT's but many of them are painted that way.

You will be able to tell if it is actually a GT by the VIN # - GT Coupes all start with JG66 (the sedans all start with JG33)

Thats a very good looking XB GT coupe.

This is my 1971 XY GT.
All the running gear is the same as a Mach 1 Mustang ( 300hp 351 cleveland - FMX and 9" )

The homolagated Phase 3 Xy GT of which 300 were made have been known to change hands for over $1 mil.

Love my GT but my dream is to own a big block AC Cobra replica.

That was the Mad Max falcon -- we had one of these in recently.

The brake parts are AU only./ other than that most things are out of the ford bin.

neat car.

Thanks to all, the wheels look much better if you see them in real time. I will ask what the owner wants, it has been sitting for some time at the shop.

The Coupes are gaining popularity down under, I have a mate who bought three absolute rust buckets to build one reasonable one, the shell remains of the worst one is sitting in his work yard & the number of passer's by who call in to see if its for sale & still want it after they see its condition is incredible. If you can find a good rear half & a pristine ute of the same model you have the ingredients to build another if they are a must have.
Three models, XA, XB, & XC.

If you happen to run out of car stuff to watch on TV, Eric Bana's documentary "Love the Beast" is going to be on the speed channel on Friday 12/18 at 8:00 pm.

Kind of cool looking. Looks like a Torino. It looks like it is in Danville. Is it one of Gary's cars?
