I watch but rarely post on here. alloycars builds European aluminum body recreations but started life making hand hammered (not stamped) "cobras". The last one we made went to Belgium and for DMV/TUV reasons customer requested C6 drive train etc. We still have 14 aluminum bodies and have recently taken an order for a new car on the same platform. If the gentleman from Switzerland has not yet made a choice you may want to consider a custom built aluminum car using the C6 platform, Easily and very reliable 500-600HP, very nice suspension, Essentially a modern (2005+) drive train with body and interior you so like. Anyways we are clearing the Cobras out and this is good opportunity to get a smokin deal if you are not a purist.
