Full Throttle, are they still around? Yep!

I've been trying to contact Full Throttle in Reno for the last three days and get no response to phone, fax or email.

I want to order a set of side pipes for my SPF.

Are they still in business or closed for the holidqys?

Try calling Dynamic Auto West in Reno. They're right next store to Full Throttle and probably know what's going on. I know that last year, Stephen took a little time off during the Holidays.

Dynamic in Reno was shut down yesterday. They are operating out of the Redwood City store for now.

Jim - What kind of pipes are going with? I know that Stephen has quite a bit of experience designing pipes for SPF cars. I'm planning on getting a set done one of these days.

I was in Sacramento on business Dec 1st and decided to drive to Reno and look up Full Throttle. Found the shop, and met Steve. VERY nice guy. He was busy packing up a stack bed truck with shop stuff. Said he was moving to Sparks area to a larger shop.
Ordered a set of side pipes with 3" unpacked mufflers. Still waiting for my pipes to arrive. He called last week looking for my ZIP Code to send pipes. I have called several times but have not been able to get an answer or a call back!!!???

Spoke with Dennis about this , - Dynamic Motorsports is alive and well, and consolidating to the Redwood City Location.

We have one of their SPF MkIII cars in the Mustang Ranch now for a 428 Buildup for the showroom.

I will be starting a build thread for that SPF and more details on us working with Dynamic for items in the bay area to follow.

Got the new pipes installed today.

Started the car and woke up the dead.

Damn, those things sound mean and LOUD. Sounds like a top fuel dragster at idle.

Didn't know I had a rev limiter. Do now!

I'm a happy boy!

Jim,

that pretty fast service, less than 2 weeks. are your pipes a brand new set? or did they use you old set and installed the new mufflers on them.

Stephen uses my mufflers - loves 'em! :3DSMILE:

I'll be talking with him tomorrow on more orders. Typically, he uses my 20" Cobrapacks without packing. He is one of my listed dealers.

He takes your old pipes in trade and then prepares them for the next guy. So basically, you're getting a remanufactured set of side pipes.

Get the Remflex gaskets so you don't have to ever do that again. The driver's side takes twice as long as the passenger side to swap out. Unless you have the hands of a three year old.

Jim,

thanks for the info, just what I needed to know. Where is his new location at? Being in Sacramento, I would like to drive up and check the place out.

And one little hint on how to put the washers and nuts on those bolts that your hands can't reach. Use an 18 inch extension on your ratchet and a shallow 13 mm socket. Then drop the nut into the end of the socket and put a few drops of silicone glue on the flat washer and lock washer and stick them to the top of the socket, above the nut. Then slide the extension through the side pipe opening of the body, along the sidepipe until you contact the bolt. Then, from under the car, reach one hand up to the bolt head and put your finger on it to hold it in place while you turn the extension slowly to begin the threading. Works on any that you can't reach easily.
