"Wreck" is a scarey word being tossed around here when it may have been a very minor damage requiring the repainting of a fender. Perhaps the seller has a few photos available to set your concerns aside. Maybe the repair estimate too. Lots of car have had damage repaired professionally, even new cars from the dealers sometimes...Ask for some photos to view the severity of the damage if you really like the car...Don't let it be the "car that got away" without further research.
Just a suggestion....:o

That's why I said I would prefer a "no stories" car. A lot of variables there. If I were buying a '62 Ferrari California Spyder, '69 Camaro Z28, '70 Cuda Convertible or a '67 435 Corvette, then I may have to buy a car with a story, but we're talking about an SPF Cobra, which you can still buy brand new or even buy one of the other half-dozen more or less on the market. Also, is the price compelling on this car with a story? Nope. $41K is not compelling to ME. You cannot evaluate the car in a vacuum, and that is why I said I prefer a car without a story.

Lastly, if you were referring to me, I never used the word "wreck."
