Seat Heaters

I was trying to decide between seat heaters, or buying heated vests. Looked at some heated vests yesterday and decided they are bulkier than what I want to pack up when not in use.

So, does anyone have any recommendations regarding seat heaters? I'm looking for the type that are installed under the seat cover, not the cushion type that can be removed.

Thanks in advance.

I have used these several times with my customers. website www.cobraheat.com sales@warmseats.com

You have a PM regarding the seat heaters...

I use these with Kirkey aluminum drag buckets. I merely sliced the foam of the seat cover away from the material and inserted them. Then the heat produced is insulated from the aluminum heat sink by the foam. Toasty. Below 10 degrees F, you will start to wish for more unless you put the top on. Even then it is only an issue above 70 mph. I do suggest you put them on a relay to prevent accidentally leaving them on.

Hey Bill, those seat heaters from that company work very well, I have them in my car, they come with every thing you need.

John, I went for a drive the other night. It was maybe 38* out. I don't have my heater connected yet, but the CobraHeat seat heaters sure felt good.

I'm also getting a set of these with gloves. It's the jacket liner and it's not bulky: http://www.gerbing.com/Products/Line...cketLiner.html
