Gary,

Congratulations! Great choice!

Does this mean more rain? You may wish to look into a convertible lid option or, ask jshel1 to borrow his drill.:LOL::LOL:

Dang how do you find shoes for those skis? I thought I was bad with my 10 1/2 EEEE

Joe Wicked 01-08-2010 10:55 AM

Glad to see you made your decision Gary. I will likely be available to help out the install as well.

It was only a matter of time before you bought another one. Congrats!

Please say hello to David for me next time you meet.

Regards,

Gary

You don't have a choice, the people have voted! The FE wins hands down. I do believe it is a safer way to hit your horsepower goals.

What color are you going to paint this new toy?

ItsOnlyMoney 01-09-2010 12:10 PM

Congratulations Gary on the new project. Let me know if you need any help. Or, if you just need someone to stand around and watch (I'll bring Matt)

Hey Dean, hope all is well.

David

Congratulations on the new Hurricane. I own HM1002 built by Dean Lampe in 2005. Really enjoy the car

LMH 01-11-2010 02:19 PM

Very cool! I wondered what happened 1002 since the fiasco. Excellent!

About a year and a half ago somebody I dont know who posted a pic of there footbox in a hurricane, it was something like 17 inches from side to side, it just looked very small, and with the clutch and brake pedals that close, and you having 12 eee feet, wow, dont know how you do it, can you post some pics of your feet on the pedals, would love to see it, as far as the car goes I love the car very much.

FUNFER2 01-14-2010 06:58 AM

That's great Gary ! :D

The Hurricane is a very well built Cobra and I like the fact you may want a original type engine. For racing, I would go with a small block for weight bias but, other than that, FE ALL THE WAY !!!

Mine is up for sale.
I sent you mail.

I've been researching Cobra kits since 1999 (seriously) and am hopefully only a year or two away from purchase. I had all but decided on a Superformance but now this talk about the "new" Hurrican has me intrigued. I'll be following this thread and anxiously awaiting updates - and pictures!

Congrats on the new purchase. I hope you enjoy it.
