Above and beyond members !
I wanted to take moment to write a sincere appreciation note
for a fellow member. Jeff Gagnon (1985-CCX) did a remarkable thing for me recently by helping me recover a considerable amount of money from a vendor that I was having trouble with. Little did I know that Jeff also had a deal in the works with the same vendor. Jeff put himself out there for a guy he had never met to make good on someone else's debt, because in his words, "it was the right thing to do." I couldn't agree more to that mindset, but to actually be the guy that it was done for. Man, that was something special. I came to the forum with my problem after months of difficulty to warn others. It got back to me in a way that I never would have imagined! The forum can be a powerful ally, but some of the members that support it are really amazing beyond words and make it what it is. Thank you Jeff for making a big difference and being 'that guy'!! ~Mike. |
THAT is very cool!

Thanks for being "The Man" Jeff. That is a nobel thing you have done. I don't know the situation but you certainly made Mike's day by stepping in to help him with some uncertainties he had with a vendor.

Hi Mike,
Good to see your situation resolved and that you were fully compensated. Jeff has always been a stand up guy and in this situation showed his character and ethical confidence to two people. You got your money back and Jeff is showing his confidence in the vendor that has had a good reputation for many years in the Replica business community. I have been talking to the vendor in question and will also do business with him in the future. Best Regards, Tony R. |
Thanks Mike! ;)
It really was the right thing to do. Hopefully the karma will be good enough to get the funds owed by Bob Beverly AKA: RWB Express Robert Beverly Deb Moose (his wife) Still playing cat and mouse. :( |
