Telescoping Steering Column on Original Cobras?
I was watching a show called "Great Cars Collection Series" about Cobra tonight (it's available on Netflix as as an instant play). They show a segment (late footage) of Carroll Shelby sitting in a car adjusting the steering column
Did the original cars feature a telescoping steering column?
The Great Cars Collection also features an episode about the GT40. If you've got an HD Tivo box, you can stream the program to your Tivo box.

Early MK I cars (260s with Cam Gears steering) had the telescoping column from the AC Ace. Gone when rack and pinion cars started.

No way,as it is you have very little room.Besides they would have been a weight issue.Cobra's were a no frills hot rod period.
