Glove box knob
Supposedly, the "correct" glove box knob is a low T-handle. Cobra Restorers has them for $75, or about $73 more than the round chrome knob my car and most I've seen use.
I haven't found many pictures of original cars with glove boxes, and two that I did... used the round handle. Maybe this was a late replacement, as the T-handle seems quite hard to get. Is the T-handle actually correct, and for which cars - all of the street cars with glove boxes? 289s? 427 streets? |
I believe the "T" handles were in the 427/428 street cars, and the Round knobs were in the 289's

So far all of the original 427 street car photos and old magazine articles I've found from the 60's, show the "T" knob.
