Who dat? Cobra in Scotts Valley CA at Mt. Mermon intersection
Sitting next to a police cruiser at a stoplight, I spotted a Cobra waiting at the light to go onto Mt. Hermon road. FFR?
Local? DD |
There was a real 427 Cobra for sale recently from Scotts Valley (by Santa Cruz). It was light green if I remember correctly.
|
The one I saw was a gelcoat grey 427 with polished spats on the rear fenderwells. It looked like a FFR, but I didn't really get a good look at it.
Always curious when I spot another Cobra running around town. DD |
That was me
I was out cruising the back roads after putting in new shocks. Car is acutually painted a gray Audi TT color but is so dirty at the moment you cant tell. It is a FF5 I built 7years and 70k miles ago. Nothing fancy but it is a daily driver year round.

Didn't you drop by Alice's one time when we were there? |
Drake: Didn't get a good look at your car as you went through the intersection, so it was hard to tell what color it was. You'll have to connect with me and Got-the-Bug for coffee at Starbucks or gut-busters at Brunos. There is also a CSX4000 in town (Shelby_Racer = John) and we connect from time to time as well.
Mine is an ERA 289FIA with a pumped up 302 and a TKO-600. Not as scary as other Cobras, but plenty of fun for me. I am going to be Cobra-less for the next two months, but the good news is that my Cobra will be up at Ken Pike's getting painted. Looking forward to getting it all back together and taking it back out in the April/May timeframe. Cheers, DD |
Probably, but I go up there a lot on Sunday mornings for breakfast. I like to put a 100 miles on it then be home by 10:00 for the honey do list.
