I have seen alot of threads discussing speedo driven gear sizes and numbers, so I thought I would post this photo of 16 through 19-tooth gears with Ford part numbers for anyone's reference. I see some websites asking $15-$25 each for these. got them over the counter at the Ford dealer for between $5 and $8 each.:D

Hey Mike that's good info thanks. I wonder if anyone reading this knows what gear to use on a 3.54:1 rear with a Toploader. Tires are G35's.

Thanks much this place is great so is the ERA site! Any tips on what cable to use and where to get it? Do they need a reverse wound cable so they don't pump the transmission oil out through the cable?

Try David Kee. I believe he has cables, clips, o-rings etc.

I have 17 and 19 tooth driven speedo gears on the pay it forward thread for free. Let me know if you need either of them.

Once I figure out the right one with my new tires, all the rest will go in the bucket too.
