Shelby Showcase at Canadian International Auto Show, Toronto
 
On February 10 (Wed), 2010, Carroll Shelby was inducted into the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame at a special gala held on the margins of the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, which runs Feb 12 (Fri)-21 (Sun). Special guests at the gala included ol' Shelby himself, driver Bob Bondurant and automotive writer David E. Davis.

There is also a special Shelby Showcase at the Toronto auto show which features about 45 cars from the Larry H. Miller collection, Legendary Motorcar and other sources. I've pieced together the following list from news articles, and will update it as I find out more.

two Cobra 427 roadsters, solid green and silver w/black stripes (CSX4000 series or replicas tbc)

the green one is a johnex cobra and the silver one is mine (SPF)

i got lots of pics but they were taken at 10 mp so i have to shrink them down will post as soon as i can.. great selection of cars there

I didn't realize you were putting your own car in the Shelby Showcase. Sounds like fun.

Here is a photo from the Shelby Showcase at the Toronto auto show. In it you can clearly see the "flip-top" roadster (CSX2196) and the 289 FIA roadster owned by Lynn Park (CSX2259).

But can anyone identify the 289 USRRC roadster (#52) with the racing windscreen? Is it CSX2431 or CSX2494 or one of the other ones? Thanks for the help.

One of the best gatherings of important Shelby cars I`ve ever seen displayed at an open show of this size.Congratulations in order to Shelby for making the effort to attend and to Richard Pickering for organizing.

I'd say #52 is CSX2514.

So it looks the large (16'x16') vinyl banners used to decorate the Shelby Showcase are going to be sold next weekend (Apr 9-11) at the Spring Classic Car Auction in Toronto.

I've scanned the page from the official auction catalog.
