Dash Question...

My car has a uncovered stainless dash. I am wanting to cover the dash with vinyl/leather. By looking at the steering column, I think I can remove the dash by removing the steering wheel and slide it out and around the column. But if I can't, what precautions do I need to take if any when removing the entire steering column? Thanks in advance!

The wheel boss and directional on the steering tube should all come off to allow easy removal of the dash. What column is it?

Mick, I am sure it's a Flaming River. I would rather remove the dash without taking the column out so as to avoid any problems with adjustments because it works great now. Thanks!

Steve, Thanks! I started tonight. Took the wheel off and a few switches etc. Thought I would go slow. I'll give you a call later on this week. Thanks, again! Dave
