I'm sorry

Guess I was very sad when I sold my Cobra, but my purchase and re build of the new GT40 made up for the loss of the Cobra and the end to open air cruising or so I thought.

Having been asked what was I going to do without the Cobra, did leave me wondering. But the GT40 has been fun to date..

Then along came this Mustang for sale, so I'm not missing the Cobra as much now.

Mmmm perhaps another Cobra build coming up - but may need to add another hoist to fit it in..

Well I have the best of both worlds now - a summer and winter car.

The summer days Mustang was driven down the east coast from Queensland on Wednesday to the All Ford Day in Geelong. I picked it up from the seller in Queensland. Just over a 1700km trip.

Now to re clean the Mustang and detail it again - Mmmm perhaps that wait until after I finish driving it this summer.

And getting the winter or rainy day car ready for a drive...

:)

Bernie,

That is a nice looking Mustang. Doesn't look as if it will take a lot to have it in top shape.

Ron :)

Nice looking Mustang and GT40, but $1700K ?! I assume you mean $1,700, if that's the case, I'm still shocked, looks like a great deal.

Ron,

Thanks yes it is a good one. needs very little work to get it right up. I could go crazy and detail it underneath..

I miss the Cobra like you.

PurpleVenom

The price was just right. I have amended the 1700k to 1700km - kilometres for the trip.

About 1100 miles.

I am very happy to date with the Mustang, to pick it up and then drive it straight back down the east coast from Queensland to Geelong was a real treat - warm and sunny days and warm evenings made it very enjoyable..**)
