Windshield install FFR MKI PICs wanted

Anyone have or know about pics on where the windshield brackets bolt up to the frame?

I would go to the FF forum and inquire there.

It sounds like you have the typical blank posts. The windsheild gets put in through the slots, positioned against the brackets and set to the correct angle. Then you transfer the bracket holes against the posts to drill them, don't forget to mark them for a cut off length as well and radius them so you don't have a knee stabber under the dash. Pull it apart and drill and trim. Reinstall is a reversal of removal (I've always wanted to say that).

Pictures from a mid 5000 series MK III, sorry for the quality, I just took them in the back of the shop. From left to right, first two are upper then lower mount points for the drivers side. Third short is passenger side mounting points. Second shot shows where you need to radius after rough mounting (I still need to do that to this car)....

And the blank posts are too long and need to be cut to the correct length to fit into the car without bottoming out.

AND, if I remember, the legs are different lengths. Check them both, so you don't end up short.
Have fun.
