Looking for different colors to paint ?

Any of you guys have a Cobra painted blue with light brown/cream stripes and burgundy pin stripes. I have a sweater with those colors and I kinda like those three colors together. I know it's a long shot but if you have one painted like that, could you post some pictures for me please that would be great, thanks

Last fall I saw a Cobra in Texas that had used the Viper type blue with the creamy color that is on the Lincoln MKX and some of the Nissans and it looked pretty good. Not sure those colors are for me but this particular color was done well. Also, saw one at the Mid-America meet a few years back that was done in the blue and yellow (kind of like the Nautical colors that were appearing on some of the cars a few years back). Striking combination but not a combination that would apeal to everyone.

The bottom line is make it yours and if blue and tan apeal to you then that could be your signature car.

When I read this post, my first thought was :JEKYLHYDE .

The only thing that I could think of that came remotely close was this Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni Edition. This particular model was at Cars & Coffee Irvine last year and I just happened to be there the day it showed up. I did not take this photo, but it shows how they added an "off color" stripe to one side. They even carry this striping through the leather interior. I had my doubts when I first saw this car's striping scheme in the magazines, but in person it really popped and looked sensational.

Not sure if this treatment would lend well to a late 50's/early 60's designed AC body, but to each his own.

Would that look ugly ?

Hey guys i'm not saying that it's my only choice and i sure appreciate a good joke, espescially the guy with the clown sweater. I just wanted something different but i don't want to look like a looser also with that color scheme.
Maybe i'll stick with something more conventional, like blue and titanium or white, who knows, thanks anyway !

I put pearl in my white stripes. Kind of a off-white.

you never know

About three years ago Ginger told me see was getting her Cobra painted brown. I thought "OH SH " that is going to look awful!

But when I saw the car, She pulled it off. Not my color but it looks good.

She has the only brown / gold stripe, brown leather Cobra around here.

You never know till it's painted.
I worried about my color, yellow for 2 years. Most don't like it but I do.

Loud color for a loud car!
Dwight
